Counting down to the next payday.
There are 32 days left until payday. Nollan.se shows the countdown automatically on the dashboard, next to the clock, weather and today's name day.
The dates below follow the rules most Swedish employers use – the 25th, rolled back to the last banking day when it lands on a weekend or a public holiday. Want every payday for the whole year?
In Sweden, salaries are most commonly paid on the 25th of the month. That is the default Nollan uses. Some workplaces pay on the 27th, the 20th or the last banking day – but the 25th is the classic reference point.
If the 25th falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the money usually arrives on the nearest weekday before – typically the Friday. Employers pay early rather than late so you are not left waiting over the weekend.
The same applies to public holidays and holiday eves, when the banks are closed: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and Day, Epiphany, Good Friday, Easter Monday, May Day, Ascension Day, the National Day and Midsummer Eve. So to count correctly you find the 25th and then step back to the last banking day – not merely the last weekday.
Take today's date and count forward to that adjusted payday. A worked example: if today is the 10th and payday is Friday the 24th (because the 25th is a Saturday), that is 14 days. The moment payday passes, the count resets to next month's date.
If your salary lands on another day of the month, you can change it on the dashboard: tap the pencil ✎ next to "Next payday" and pick your day – the countdown then adjusts to you. The default here on this page uses the 25th.
Yes. If the 25th falls on a Saturday, the money normally arrives on Friday the 24th. Employers pay early rather than late, so you are not left waiting over the weekend. If the 25th is a Sunday, payday is usually Friday the 23rd.
December pay normally arrives on Wednesday 23 December 2026. The 25th is Christmas Day and the 24th is Christmas Eve – both non-banking days – so the salary is paid on the last banking day before the Christmas holidays. That is why December pay always lands earlier than the usual 25th.
Usually during the night before payday, so the money is in the account when you wake up. Some banks post it in the early hours, others during the morning of payday itself.
Many workplaces pay on the 27th, the 20th or the last banking day of the month. On the Nollan.se dashboard you can set your own payday – tap the pencil next to "Next payday" and the countdown adjusts to you.
The point of a payday countdown is not to stress about money but to give a clear, honest overview of where you are in the month. Open Nollan and the number is already there – no login, no setup.
