Nollan.se – your daily Swedish overview: clock, weather, name day and days until payday
Your simple Swedish almanac & dashboard
Nollan.se gathers what you most want to know about the day in one place: today's name day, the current week number, how many days are left until payday, plus weather, sunrise and the golden hour for your city – free, no account needed.
The site is called Nollan.se, but most people just say Nollan. Want to know how it works? Read our short guides in the knowledge base.
How Nollan works
Everything on the page updates itself. The clock ticks in your own browser, the name day changes at midnight, the week number follows ISO 8601, and the payday countdown starts from the 25th and rolls back to the nearest banking day when the 25th falls on a weekend or a public holiday. Nothing needs reloading by hand.
Pick a city at the top and the weather, sunrise, sunset and golden hour follow automatically. You can add any town you like, and the choice is saved in your own browser. Nollan runs no analytics and requires no account: your cities, your theme and your settings never leave your phone or computer.
The site installs as an app straight from the browser, with no app store, and then works offline as well. It weighs under a megabyte and updates itself in the background.
The figures come from named sources: weather and sun times from MET Norway, fire risk from SMHI, name days from the Swedish name day list and electricity prices from elprisetjustnu.se. Nollan is written and run by one person, and you can reach me at kontakt@nollan.se.

About Nollan.se & FAQ
What is Nollan.se?
Nollan.se is a free, minimalist Swedish dashboard that gathers the most important things about your day in one place: a live clock, today's name day, weather and sunrise for your city, the current week number and how many days are left until payday. Open Nollan whenever you quickly want an overview of your day. Want it completely ad-free? You can unlock Premium.
Whose name day is it today?
Today, 24 October, it is the name day for Evert & Eilert. Nollan shows today's name day automatically – every day, all year round.
What week is it now?
Right now it is week 43. The week number follows the Swedish standard (ISO 8601) and updates automatically on Nollan.se.
How many days are left until payday?
The next payday is 25/11 – that is 32 days left until payday. Nollan counts payday as the 25th, rolling back to the nearest banking day before it if the 25th falls on a weekend or a public holiday. If you are paid on a different day you can change it yourself: click the pencil ✎ next to "Next payday" and pick which day of the month you are paid – the countdown then adjusts automatically.
When does the sun rise and set where I live?
Nollan shows the sunrise, sunset and golden hour for your selected city. At the top of the page you switch city by tapping it, add a new one with the "Add city" button, and remove a city by long-pressing it. Sun times and weather update instantly for the selected city.
Can I install Nollan as an app on my phone?
Yes! Nollan is an app you can install for free – no app store needed, and it works offline too. Android/Chrome: tap the menu (⋮) and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen" (or use the "Install now" button that appears on the page). iPhone/Safari: tap the Share icon and choose "Add to Home Screen".
